You may return most new, unopened items within 30 days of delivery for a full refund. We'll also pay the return shipping costs if the return is a result of our error (you received an incorrect or defective item, etc.).
You should expect to receive your refund within four weeks of giving your package to the return shipper, however, in many cases you will receive a refund more quickly. This time period includes the transit time for us to receive your return from the shipper (5 to 10 business days), the time it takes us to process your return once we receive it (3 to 5 business days), and the time it takes your bank to process our refund request (5 to 10 business days).
If you need to return an item, simply login to your account, view the order using the "Complete Orders" link under the My Account menu and click the Return Item(s) button. We'll notify you via e-mail of your refund once we've received and processed the returned item.
Mandurah Lithium Upgrades is your local stockist for a majority of Victron products.
The Victron 50A solar regulator is specific to only a few situations:
1. If your caravan has more than 600w of total roof solar panels
2. You have lithium batteries and you have a dedicated DCDC charger without Solar input.
3. You have more than 300AH of lithium batteries
If you have under 600w of solar, the Victron 30A solar regulator is more suited to your needs.
If you have a lithium battery under 300AH, and under 600w of solar, we recommend the Enerdrive 40A DCDC charger to control both alternator and solar inputs.
If you have over 300AH of lithium, then you should already have or are planning to have more than 600W of solar on your roof to help maximise recharging such a large amount of lithium. So then we at Mandurah Lithium Upgrades recommend the Victron 50A solar regulator should be sold with the Victron 30A DCDC charger as a package.
Once you go above 300AH of lithium batteries, its important that you maximise charging from all 3 sources: 240v, solar and alternator 12v.
All DCDC chargers that have solar and alternator inputs will choose one input or the other up to the units maximum amp rating. So this can be a weak point for a large array of lithium batteries, because as you are driving, all of your solar is cut out and alternator 12v is prioritized, or vice versa.
So installing both a Victron 30A or 50A solar regulator with the Victron 30A DCDC charger is great solution
Enjoy a seamless, wireless solution for managing your SmartSolar Charge Controllers. This built-in Bluetooth Smart feature simplifies device setup, monitoring, updating, and synchronization, enhancing your solar energy management experience.
Our VE.Direct feature ensures a wired data connection to Color Control GX, Cerbo GX and other GX products, and personal computers. This efficient data sharing and device integration capability significantly improves your overall system performance.
The Victron Energy's 50A Solar Charge Controller boasts ultra-fast Maximum Power Point Tracking (MPPT) technology. This improves your energy harvest by up to 30% compared to traditional PWM charge controllers, and by up to 10% when compared to slower MPPT controllers, making it an ideal solution for varying light conditions, including clouded skies.
For scenarios with partial shading conditions, our innovative BlueSolar algorithm ensures maximum energy harvest by locking to the optimum MPP, unlike conventional MPPTs that may lock to a suboptimal local MPP.
With an impressive maximum efficiency exceeding 98% and full output current up to 40°C (104°F), our fanless Solar Charge Controller offers outstanding conversion efficiency, simplifying your system design.
Our Solar Charge Controller offers a fully programmable charge algorithm and eight pre-programmed algorithms, selectable with a rotary switch, ensuring a versatile, efficient, and personalized solar charging experience.
To safeguard your system, our Solar Charge Controller includes over-temperature protection, power derating at high temperatures, PV short circuit protection, PV reverse polarity protection, and PV reverse current protection.
The integrated internal temperature sensor compensates absorption and float charge voltage based on temperature, ensuring efficient and accurate charging.
Extend your system control with a Smart Battery Sense or a BMV-712 Smart Battery Monitor. These devices can communicate battery voltage and temperature to one or more SmartSolar Charge Controllers, enhancing your ability to monitor and control your solar energy system.
Victron's MPPT Solar Charge Controller utilizes a sophisticated 3-stage charging process, comprising of Bulk, Absorption, and Float stages for efficient battery charging.
During the Bulk stage, the solar charger delivers the maximum charge current to rapidly charge the batteries. As the battery voltage gradually increases and reaches the set absorption voltage, the Bulk stage transitions into the Absorption stage.
In the Absorption stage, the solar charger switches to a constant voltage mode, and the current supplied to the battery slowly decreases. When the current drops below 2A, the charger transitions into the Float stage. The Absorption time is adaptive, short for shallow discharges but longer after deep discharges, to ensure optimal battery recharging.
The Float stage maintains the batteries at a reduced voltage, preserving their full charged state. The absence of a storage stage sets our solar charger apart, as it ceases charging at night when there is no solar power.
The VictronConnect App provides a choice of 8 pre-set charge algorithms, or alternatively, a fully programmable charge algorithm. Customize the charge voltages, stage duration, and charge current for maximum charging efficiency. A rotary switch can also be used to set 8 pre-programmed algorithms.
For some lead-acid battery types, periodic equalization charge is essential. This process increases the charge voltage above the regular charge voltages for cell balancing. If required, enable equalization charging using the VictronConnect App.
